Request account deletion
Tally is developed by Mark Angelo Atienza. You can request deletion without reinstalling the app.
Send a request by email
Email support@markangeloatienza.com from the address registered to your Tally account with the subject “Tally account deletion request”. Include your account email and say that you want to delete the account and its associated cloud data. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.
Email an account deletion requestThis button opens your email application. Send the message there to submit your request. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or backup files.
Delete from the app
Open Settings → Account & business, then choose the account deletion action. You may need to sign in again to confirm.
What is deleted
The service schedules removal of your account, authentication records and associated support records. Businesses affected by the account deletion flow and their recovery copies are scheduled for removal; shared business membership and ownership rules may require review. Audits are de-identified where applicable.
Device records and exported files
Cloud deletion does not erase records saved on your phone or copies you exported elsewhere. Remove these separately. Signing out can leave a hidden local workspace.
Retention and timing
Account information is kept while the account is active. Cloud backup retention depends on the assigned recovery plan. When a positive retention period applies to an active plan, maintenance schedules older backups for removal while preserving the newest readable recovery point. Plan expiry or reduced quotas do not automatically erase existing backups. Accepted account and backup deletion requests are queued for maintenance; the configured daily cleanup may require additional runs or retries and is not a guaranteed completion deadline. Final retention periods and deletion completion times remain under review.
